Praying for the Sick Prayer Cards
A set of five prayer leaflets on sturdy card stock designed to be used in ministry to the sick. Clergy or lay visitors to the sick may leave a card behind as a tangible reminder of the Lord’s concern for the sick person. The card may be placed in such a way that the sick person can look at it and reflect upon the icon and its message. Each card contains a full-color icon print, readings from Scripture and a Church Father as well as prayers from the Byzantine liturgical tradition. Topics include Prayer for the Sick, For Those Undergoing Surgery, For a Sick Child, for Chronic Illness, and Sickness Not Punishment for Sin. Please note that these cards do not come with envelopes.
