Prayer in Our Life Student’s Leaflets—Intermediate
This course initiates the child to several aspects of personal prayer: the need for daily prayer, the types of prayer (adoration, contrition, thanksgiving, supplication) and attitudes for prayer (forgiveness, humility). The “Beginning Prayers” (“Trisagion Prayers”) provide the framework for this overview. Older students experience traditional exercises of personal prayer: reflective Scripture reading, the Jesus Prayer and the examination of conscience.
